Confiture Parisienne and Antoinette Poisson come together thanks to the original creation of a jam. Indeed, Antoinette Poisson was the name of the Pompadour, Louis XV’s favorite. So what? So what, Louis XV had ordered for her the most delicious dessert imaginable from his best pastry chefs.
It was the « Puits d’Amour », a cake with in its heart the best jam ever imagined at the time. The secret was forgotten since the Puits d’Amour is now made with pastry cream.
Forgotten until Confiture Parisienne rediscovered the secret of this wonderful recipe, never updated since Louis XV.
