The J166 Jørna armchair was designed by Poul M. Volther. It is a sleek, spindle-backed chaise longue from 1952. Volther designed the chair for his wife Jørna, who loved knitting and therefore designed it to be wide enough.
The Jørna armchair is made of solid oak and its seat cushions are covered with high-quality wool fabric. The curved, upward-widening spindle backrest gives the chair a light, yet bold appearance.
