The C35C dining table is one of FDB Møbler’s well-known classics. Designed in 1957 by Poul M. Volther, it remains a popular dining table today thanks to its elegant and lightweight design.
Poul M. Volther’s goal in designing this table was to create a simple and elegant table that would complement any chair. Lightweight and functional, the beautiful tabletop is crafted from oak veneer, supported by a frame with sliding bars and solid oak legs.

Danish furniture designer Poul M. Volther was known for his unique talent in designing high-quality furniture for mass production.
He designed some of the most iconic furniture of the era, which furnished many modern homes built during the advancement of the welfare state in the decades following World War II. His simple, functionalist language was rooted in craftsmanship, and his furniture was designed to be flexible and adapted to everyday life.
His J46 Radius Back Chair from 1956 is one of his best-known designs and is the best-selling chair in Denmark.
