Rosi Feist likes the trivial. He may find inspiration for his next pattern in a garden chair or a trash can.
Most of his work is analog and consists of handmade paper cutouts. He uses different knives, scissors, paper cutters and glue. He also creates paper illustrations and digital cutouts using his mouse.
Born in 1981 in Dresden (Saxony), he grew up in a small town near the border between West Germany and the Czech Republic. After various training courses, he studied media arts and design at the Bauhaus University in Weimar. Rosi lives and works in the south-east of Berlin.
